A Green shoulder tab from 2271-2350 indicates either a Marine Officer or someone in the tactical
field sometime an appionted Strategic Operations officer or in the security field of starship operations. Strategic
Operation Officers are typically third or fourth in command.

A Light Blue shoulder tab from 2271-2350 indicates someone in the conseling field
for a starship. This was required for certain ships to have one while in deep space.

Admiral Sleeve Ranks from 2271-2350
Starfleet basically has the same rank insigina for all Admiral grades on the sleeves. The real
indication of Admiral Grade is the gold knots. One is for Rear-Admiral, 2 for Vice-Admiral, 3 for Admiral and 4 for Fleet
Admiral.
