Bio of Mark Bell

Mark was born on July 21, 2285 on the planet Mars.  His father was a Starfleet Fleet Admiral: Carl Bell.  His mother was April Jone Bell who assisted with Starfleet Medical.  Despite rumors Mark was not with his father allot considering that Robert was always exploring space.  Mark was born in a small room in a hospital on Mars.  His father was there and he and his father talked a great deal through sub-space.  Mark enjoyed studied space from his home and got used to the light gravity on the planet.  He attended school and eventually got into Starfleet academy.  He specialized in weapons and security.  He attended martial arts training weapons training.  After graduating from the Academy he was stationed on Andoria.

He got to serve on several patrols with the Andorians and sometimes served as the weapons officer.  After two years he ws stationed on the USS Texas an old Daedalus Class Cruiser.  There was an emergency crisis and Captain was killed and the first officer was knocked unconscious.  LTJG Bell took command and saved the ship. After a total of three years serving the USS Texas,  he was then promoted and made the tactical officer of the USS Eagle a Constitution Class Starship.  He did extremely well there, after three years of service he then went back to Earth and attended flight school.  He was then stationed at Starbase Young and served as a shuttle pilot. After five years of service was promoted to LCDR and became the first officer of the USS Kinley an Oberth Class Starship and the primary science vessel of section Omega 2.

That was pretty much of a routine assignment for Commander Bell.  After that assignment Commander Bell was appointed as first officer of the USS Georgia a Constitution Class Starship. They were instrumental in establishing the current treaty with the Romulians.  They were also in establishing some open terms with the Klingons.  After another three years of service with the Captains recommendation CDR Bell was given command of his present assignment of the USS Freedom. After two years serving the ship at the rank of Commander, Mark was promoted to the rank of Captain.  He stayed with the USS Freedom for a total of 5 years and while on the USS Freedom he was promoted twice.  The first was to the rank of Captain the second to the rank of Rear Admiral. During a fierce battle while with the USS Copernicus her Commanding officer was killed and after saving the ship Rear Admiral Bell was put in command of the starship.  Once he was promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral he was then transferred to the USS Edwards a Excelsior Class starship.  He also was the tactical advisor to Fleet Admiral Holly.  He served Starfleet for another 10 years at that position and then retired from Starfleet.

34 years in Starfleet

Mark mascaraided in the mid 19th Century as a Navy Union Commander.  He was sent there through a temporal rift while going on leave.
