After four long years Michael graduated and was assigned to the main Earth defenses took make sure that if the Xindi ever got it in their heads to strike again that they had some defenses.  That was a success and after three years of service was sent to Vulcan to help the Vulcan defense force.  He was then promoted to LTJG and sent as the Tactical Officer of the USS Freedom the newest NX Class Earth Starship constructed under the United Federation of Planets.  He stated at that position for 1 year and due to the transfer of the Engineering Officer he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.  He served at that position for three years and was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and continued serving the USS Freedom. He was still within the Engineering Department he managed to get the impulse engines and the phasers up in efficiency by 30%.  He continued to serve on the USS Freedom for another 3 years.  He was then transferred to a low warp Intrepid Class starship the USS Ranger as the first officer at the rank of Lieutenant Commander.  He served on the USS Ranger for three years and was then promoted to the rank of Commander and then transferred to the USS Defiant as the first officer.  He stayed as the first officer of the ship for two years and then given command of the USS Defiant.  He enjoyed the command of the USS Defiant for 5 years. After the USS Defiant he was then again promoted to the rank of Captain and given command to the USS Patrick Henry a re-fit from the NX Class design.  He was also given the role of the 1^st Fleet Executive Officer.  He served there for 8 years and then retired from Starfleet.
